The Widnes Wild women’s team will be hoping that the weather has improved enough for them to be able to travel to Telford on Sunday 12th January for a top of the table clash against the Wrekin Raiders in their first match of the new year.
The Wild women topped the Division 2 North table over the festive period but a narrow 2-1 win for Telford over Whitley Bay Beacons on Saturday saw them leapfrog them into top spot and they now head the table by 1 point, having played the same number of games.
The Wild women are then at home to Telford on Sunday 26th January at Planet Ice Widnes, 4.25pm face off.
