Sunday 14^th September 2025 – Laidler Division: Nottingham Lions2 2 - Deeside Dragons D2 6

The Dragons D2 team picked up their first Laidler Division win of the season with a 2-6 victory away over Nottingham Lions on Sunday.

James Shaw gave Deeside the lead in the 5^th minute to set them on their way and further goals from James Parsons (2), Charlie Spridgeon, Cody Ogden and a second for Shaw secured the win.

Leo Hyman – making his NIHL debut in the Deeside goal - put in a superb performance and was rewarded with the MVP award for the Dragons.

The Dragons D2 team play their first home league match of the season this Saturday 20^th September when they take on Billingham Buccaneers at Deeside Leisure Centre, 5.15pm face off.
