The DMUK Widnes Wild women’s team will be looking to get their Division 2 North title challenge back on track as they travel across the Pennines to take on the Leeds Roses on Saturday 4th November.
The Wild women opened the new season with a 5-0 home victory over Grimsby Wolves but then slumped to a 10-1 defeat away to new team Caledonia Steel Queens in Edinburgh in their last game.
Following Saturday’s game, the Wild women have two more away games - at Sheffield Shadows (12th November) and Telford Wrekin Raiders (25th November) before their next home game on Sunday 10th December when they entertain Kingston Diamonds at Planet Ice Widnes.
