The Blackburn Renegades win silverware for the third year in a row.

The Blackburn Renegades secured the Blood, Sweat and Beers Play off title after a 5 - 8 victory over Halton Huskies at Planet Ice Widnes on Sunday.
The Renegades had won the cup - in its various guises - for the past two seasons the Huskies had won the league stage of the competition this year.
The two teams had shared remarkable 10-10 draws in both of their meetings in the group stage of the competition so this season’s finale between the top two finishers was always going to be a bit of a spectacle.
The game was played at a high tempo throughout, in very good spirit and in front of a huge crowd at the Widnes rink.

The Huskies will be holding their end of season awards night at the Hub Venue in Widnes on Saturday 9th November from 5.30 to 9pm.

As well as the presentation of the player awards, there will also be a buffet and a raffle.
