NIHL South 1 Cup Semi Finals: Streatham and Chelmsford Through to Final!

Following two 4-4 draws on Saturday night, there was still much to play for in the second legs of both semi-finals as Streatham Redskins travelled away to face Invicta Dynamos and Chelmsford Chieftains hosted Wightlink Raiders.

In Chelmsford, the Chieftains led throughout and beat the Raiders 3-1 to go through to the final 7-5 on aggregate.

There was high drama in Gillingham as the Streatham Redskins fought back from 9-4 down after 33 minutes to tie 9-9 and then go on to win the penalty shoot out.

The South 1 Cup final will take place over the weekend on 29th and 30th March with Streatham playing at home in the first leg.
