Altrincham Aces / Trafford Metros Reunion Match - 8th April at Silver Blades Altrincham

For anybody who remembers the good old days of the Heineken British League period - which was a golden age for our sport in terms of rink building, league expansion, TV coverage and development of British players -  here is an event not to be missed.

A special reunion game featuring players from the Altrincham Aces and Trafford Metros teams from that memorable period is being staged at the Silver Blades rink in Altrincham on Saturday 8th April. Admission is £3 per person and face off is at 4.30pm.  The cafĂ© and bar will be open and a souvenir match programme is being prepared.   

Final line ups have yet to be announced but there will be two teams of Aces and Metros legends with the following players having already been confirmed:

There will be a 50/50 draw and a raffle / tombola on the day to raise funds for the Trafford Tornados Junior club.  Prizes are keenly sought for the raffle and any donations can be handed to an event organiser, Tornados club official or at the Altrincham rink box office.
