Bradford Bulldogs v Hull Jets - by Rob Hutchinson |
The other game on Sunday night saw second place Widnes Wild come from 2 goals down to pick up an important 2-5 win away at ever improving Altrincham Aces. In an incredibly closely fought game, Widnes player coach Scott McKenzie appeared to be the big difference ash he hits 1+4 and had a hand in every Wild goal.
Deeside Dragons lead the Laidler Conference with 25 points from 14 games. Widnes are second with 23 points from 15 games and Nottingham are third with 21 points from 15 games. The top three are pulling away from the chasing pack as 4th place Blackburn Eagles have 16 points from 13 games.
In the other Laidler game of the weekend, Hull Jets put an end to their 9 game losing streak stretching back to the end of September with a 5-7 win away at Bradford Bulldogs.
