Moralee Conference - Weekend Round Up

Whitley Warriors took over at the top of the Moralee Conference after a 3 point weekend that saw a 3-3 draw away at newly promoted Telford Tigers on Saturday and then a narrow 2-1 win at home to last season’s Laidler champions Solihull Barons at home on Sunday. 

The only other undefeated team - Blackburn Hawks - shut out Sutton Sting 5-0 and move up into second place, a point behind the Warriors.

The previous leaders - Sheffield Spartans - drop down to 4th place after being shut out 4-0 away at Billingham Stars on Sunday.     

In the other Moralee game of the weekend, Solway Sharks picked up their first win at the third attempt with a 12-1 demolition of Sheffield Senators who remain bottom of the table with 3 defeats so far.
