Coming Next At Widnes

Unlike the Elite League or the NIHL National Division, the Widnes teams don’t have any matches scheduled over the festive period

The Wild NIHL team resume their season with back to back away games on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th January when they have trips to face Hull Jets and Solihull Barons respectively. They are next at home on Saturday 13th January when they entertain Solihull at Planet Ice Widnes, 7pm face off.

The first competitive ice hockey action of the new year at Planet Ice Widnes takes place on Saturday 6th January when the Wild Academy Under 16 and Under 18B teams both have home games against Sheffield, starting at 4.20pm. Admission is free for spectators.

The DMUK Widnes Wild women’s team are at home on Sunday 7th January when they take on the Whitley Bay Beacons at Planet Ice Widnes, 4.25pm face off.

They finished off the year with their annual, light hearted, festive fancy dress scrimmage session and will be back with a vengeance in January when they will be aiming to kick start their WNIHL Division 2 North play off challenge.
