The Deeside Dragons Player of the Month for November has been announced as
Jake Witkowski.
The popular American forward played in all 7 Dragons games during the
month of November, scoring 10 goals and contributing 23 assists while sitting
out just 4 minutes in penalties.
Witkowski is the leading points scorer overall (73) in the Moralee Division
at the half way point of the season with 35 goals and 38 assists, 12 points ahead
of Telford’s Vladimir Luka.
Jake also works hard behind the scenes at the Dragons club in his role
as Director of Marketing, where he is responsible for spreading the word among the
business community and arranging sponsorship deals with local companies.
The Player of the Month award is organised by Dragons D1 and D2 press
reporter Paul Breeze and the trophies are sponsored by the Ice Hockey Review
grassroots news website.
