Dave and Verity travelled from
their home in Spain to join the other walkers in tribute to their daughter.
The walk started at Tower Hill
and ended at Buckingham Palace.
All proceeds from the walk
will go to The Sick Children's Trust, which provides accommodation for parents
to enable them to stay near their sick children. This organisation was a great help to Verity,
enabling her to stay near Ruby in hospital in Cambridge.
A JustGiving page was opened
with the aim of raising £1,000. The current total on JustGiving stands at
£1,525. This is enough to sponsor a room
at one of the Trust's houses for three months.
When the sponsor money for
walkers is added, there is every hope that we will reach a superb total of
£2,000.
