The Wild Academy junior teams enjoyed a good start to the new year, winning 2 of the 3 games played at the weekend.
The Under 16 team beat Sheffield U16s 3-1 at Planet Ice Widnes on Saturday and the Under 18B team beat the Sheffield U18s 6-2 straight afterwards.
The Wild Academy Under 12 team narrowly lost 3-2 away to Manchester Storm U12s.
This weekend sees the Academy Under 14 team at home to Sheffield on Saturday 13th January at Planet Ice Widnes, 4.20pm face off.
The Wild Under 10 team are away in Blackburn on Sunday for a 4 team “cross ice” tournament involving Manchester and Deeside as well as the host side, with the action starting at 5pm.
Admission is free for all spectators to Wild Academy home games at Planet Ice Widnes and fans are encouraged to go along and support the stars of the future.
