The Halton Huskies will be looking to secure a league and play off “double” as they take on the Blackburn Renegades in the Play Off final of the Blood, Sweat and Beers Cup this Sunday 8th September at Planet Ice Widnes, 4.00pm start.
The Huskies finished top of the Cup table with 6 wins from their 8 games and the only points that they dropped were in their two meetings with the Renegades which - somewhat amazingly - both ended in highly entertaining and close fought 10-10 draws.
The Renegades won last year’s competition and finished second in the table this time around with 3 wins and 2 draws from 8 games so will be keen to try and get one over on the Huskies in this big season finale.
Both teams have some former league players on their rosters so it should be a great game to watch. Admission is free for all spectators and there is also ample free parking.
