We are halfway through the 2026 BPIHL season – or, at least, as close as you can reasonably get, as not all teams have played the same amount of games.
At this mid-point of the campaign, Sheffield Steelkings’
Gary Farmer is top of the player points standings with 17 points (9 goals, 8
assists) from 4 games. Cardiff Huskies’
Tyler Christopher also has 17 points but he occupies second spot as Farmer has
scored more goals. Christopher is, however, the leading playmaker with 10
assists to go with his 7 goals.
Three other players – Manchester Mayhem’s Karl Nicholson and
Steelkings pair Daniel Clarke and Ben O’Brien have also made it to double
figures.
76 players have made at least one appearance across all five
teams in the league this season and, of those, 42 have got themselves on the
scoresheet with a goal or an assist.
Steelstings’ Jake Oakley still leads the way in the “Bad
Boy” stakes with 20 penalty minutes and 10 other players have also spent time
in the sin bin this season.
