The
Deeside D1 Dragons team have announced that inspirational captain Jared
Dickinson will return for the forthcoming 2026/27 NIHL Moralee Division season.
The
former Manchester Phoenix junior joined the Dragons for their 2022/23
post-Covid comeback season, having previously played NIHL hockey with Trafford
Metros, Manchester Minotaurs, Altrincham Aces and Blackburn Hawks.
He
was made an Alternate Captain in his second season at the Den and was promoted
the Captain last season where he helped lead the club to a runners-up finish in
the Moralee Division and Play Offs - and to win both the Welsh Cup and Moralee
Cup.
Dickinson
played in 48 of the Dragons’ 49 games last season and scored 17 goals and 53 assists.
He
was named Dragons Player of the Month for January and, at the end of season awards, was awarded the inaugural Peter
Sheffield Memorial Shield for his amazing contributions both on and off the
ice.
