Nottingham Lions remain top of the table after  a close fought 6-5 victory  over Blackburn Eagles - the winning goal coming just 2 minutes from the final buzzer. 

Widnes Wild move up into third place after a 9-2 demolition of Hull Jets, on equal points with 2^nd place Deeside Dragons who did not play at the weekend.

Bradford Bulldogs picked their first win of the season on Saturday – at the 8^th attempt – with a 5-2 win over Coventry Blaze.   They then lost away at Altrincham Aces 7-2 on Sunday in what was only the Aces’ second win of the season.
