The Widnes Wild Junior Academy teams had a mixed weekend with one win and two defeats from the three games played.
The Academy Under 16 team beat Nottingham 11-0 at Planet Ice Widnes on Saturday while the Under 18 team lost 1-6 at home to Leeds. The Academy Under 18B team travelled away to Nottingham the same day and lost 16-7, while the Under 10s took part in a 4 team cross-ice tournament away in Manchester.
The Wild Junior Academy have two home games this weekend with the Under 12s taking on Manchester at Planet Ice Widnes on Saturday, 4.20pm face off, and the Under 18B team facing Billingham straight afterwards.
Admission is free for all spectators to Wild Academy home games at Planet Ice Widnes and fans are encouraged to go along and support the stars of the future.
