The Widnes Wild Junior Academy had a mixed weekend with the Under 14 team winning 0-7 away to Sutton Sting on Saturday and the Under 18B team losing out by the same scoreline at home to Whitley Bay U18s at Planet Ice Widnes.
This weekend sees the Academy Under 10 team take part in a 4-team cross ice tournament away in Manchester on Saturday and the Under 12s and Under 18Bs away to Nottingham and Sheffield respectively on Sunday.
The next home game for the Wild Academy is on Saturday 17th February when the Under 18A team take on Hull at Planet Ice Widnes, 6.35pm face off.
Admission is free for all spectators to Wild Academy home games at Planet Ice Widnes and fans are encouraged to go along and support the stars of the future.
The Wild Academy are always keen to recruit new players across all age groups from Under 10 to Under 18 and hold training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Planet Ice Widnes.
