The idea of the team is to offer a stepping stone between the highly successful Deeside Junior development system – who operate teams at various age groups from Under 10s to Under 18s - and the senior Dragons team who play in the NIHL Moralee Division.
The aim is allow younger players to continue to play competitive league ice hockey after they have “aged out” of the junior system and gain experience at senior level in the hope of eventually breaking through to the Dragons Moralee side.
The Ducks have arranged two open player trials – on Monday 10th June and Monday 17th June from 9.30 to 10.30pm at Deeside Leisure Centre. Anybody interested in taking part is asked to contact James Parsons by email at James.Parsons@aura.wales
