win in a row and they remain 5 points clear of the Dragons at the top of the table
with 5 games still to play. Deeside only have 4 games left to play and the
title may well be decided before the top two meet for the final time at Hobs
Moat Road in the last game of the season on 30th March.
The Lions’ 4th
defeat in a row sees them lose ground on 3rd place Coventry Blaze
who moved 4 poinst clear following their 6-2 win away at Widnes Wild. The Wild also lost 7-2 away at Sheffield Senators
on Saturday night , being outshot 39-16, after which Widnes netminder Steve Gilmartin received
his 3rd MVP in 3 games.
