Laidler Conference Weekend Round Up - 4th & 5th October

Solihull Barons remain top of the Conference table and now have the only 100% record after their 8-4 win over Telford Tigers who, themselves, are now second following a 2-8 double point win over Blackburn Eagles on Saturday night.

Sheffield Senators remain 3rd after a 12-4 win away at bottom place Bradford Bulldogs.

Hull Jets had an up and down weekend beating Nottingham Lions 5-4 on Saturday night and then losing 4-1 away at Coventry Blaze on Sunday, although they remain in 4th place in the table.

The Lions find themselves in the rather unusual position of 2nd from bottom with just 3 points from their first 5 games but as Widnes and Deeside did not play at the weekend, the overall picture remains far from clear at this early stage of the season.
