League leaders Solihull Barons maintained their 5 point lead at the top of the table with an 8-0 win away at bottom club Blackburn Eagles.
Second place Deeside Dragons look likely to finish as runners up after their 9-3 victory at home to 3rd place Coventry Blaze left them 7 points clear of the Midlanders.
Nottingham Lions failed to capitalise on Coventry's defeat and remain level on points behind them in 4th place after a 3-4 home defeat to Widnes Wild. The Wild took the lead after just 5 seconds and went on to notch up their 4th win in a row.
The league's newest team now move above Sheffield Senators into 6th place - just 3 points behind 5th place Hull Jets with two games in hand.
