Chelmsford Chieftains' sensational shut out run was brought to an end on Saturday evening away at NIHL South 1 bottom team Milton Keynes Thunder who managed to score at 58.19 to deny the Essex side a 4th consecutive clean sheet. The 12-1 win kept the Chieftains on top of the South 1 table ahead of Sunday's matches.
The Chieftains last conceded a goal in the 49th minute of their game at Isle of Wight 4 games ago, so ignoring the odd seconds, they still managed a run of 250 minutes without letting a goal.
