Laidler Conference Weekend Round Up - 27th & 28th September

Last season’s league and play-off winners Solihull Barons sit top of the table with 5 wins from their first 5 games following a 6-1 home win over second place Sheffield Senators and a 27-1 win away at bottom team Bradford Bulldogs.

The new Telford Tigers NIHL team picked up two more wins at the weekend – beating Deeside 5-2 at home and then winning 7-6 away at Coventry Blaze and they now sit comfortably in mid-table with  a 100% record of 3 wins from 3 games.
Deeside Dragons picked up their first win of the season at the 6th attempt with a 5-0 shut-out of Hull Jets which counted for double points so their league position already looks a lot healthier than it did 7 days ago.
