Moralee Conference Weekend Round Up - 27th & 28th September

Billingham Stars remain top of the table with 3 wins from their 3 league games but didn’t have a league game last weekend. Sutton Sting played their first games at the weekend, drawing 2-2 with Blackburn Hawks despite being outshot 2:1 by their visitors and then losing 4-2 away at Whitley Warriors on Sunday.

Defending champions Solway Sharks have yet to play a Moralee conference game at all, having played all English Challenge Cup North games to date.

Telford Tigers’ EPL side sit top of the ECCN group table having already beaten Solway, Billingham and then Blackburn 7-1 on Sunday. Solway Sharks played two more cup games last weekend, losing 1-5 at home to Sheffield Steeldogs and then winning 2-4 away at Billingham Stars.
