Sheffield Senators are the form team in the Conference after back to back home wins - both 5-1 - over Deeside Dragons and Coventry Blaze. They remain in second place in the table 6 points clear of third place Telford Tigers who didn't play the weekend but have 6 games in hand.
Despite that setback on Saturday night, Deeside Dragons bounced back to win 2-4 away at Nottingham Lions on Sunday and they have now moved up into 4th place.
Widnes Wild had an unbeaten weekend with a 3-7 win away at Coventry and a 5-5 home draw against Hull Jets. Those results leave 4 teams on 9 points in the bottom half of the table - Nottingham, Hull, Coventry and Widnes - of whom, Widnes have played fewer games so far.
In the other game of the weekend, league leaders Solihull outshot Blackburn Eagles 68 to 30 in their 13-2 away win which counts for double points.
