Laidler Conference Weekend Round Up - 14th & 15th February

Bradford Bulldogs picked up only their second win of the season  with a 4-1 home win against Coventry Blaze on Saturday. Interestingly enough, their only other win to date also came against Coventry and they then lost 10-4 away to the same opposition on Sunday.

Telford Tigers had the best of the weekend points-wise with  a 4 point haul courtesy of back to back home wins – both 5-2 - over Nottingham Lions on Saturday and Widnes Wild on Sunday. Tigers look secure in second place in the table as they have a 7 point cushion over 3rd place Sheffield Senators and two games in hand but they themselves are 7 points adrift of league leaders Solihull Barons who picked up their 24th consecutive win of the season on Sunday night with a 1-4 win away at Nottingham Lions.

Deeside Dragons moved up into 6th place above Nottingham after their 8-2 win over Blackburn Eagles and cannot be counted out of the running for the play off places with 10 games still to play in the season.
