The Widnes Wild Academy junior teams had a successful weekend, winning two and drawing one of the three games that were played across the age groups.
The Under 12s beat Nottingham at home 8-0 at Planet ice Widnes on Saturday and the Under 14s drew 1-1 with their Lace City counterparts immediately afterwards.
On Sunday, the Under 14s beat Leeds 8-1 at home and the Under 10 team hosted a 4-team cross ice tournament featuring Manchester, Deeside and Blackburn club. No match results or player statistics are recorded in Under 10s games.
The Under 16s game away at Deeside scheduled for Sunday was cancelled.
This weekend sees the Wild Academy U14s at home to Blackburn on Saturday 13th April at Planet Ice Widnes, starting at 4.20pm and the Under 18B team at home to Nottingham straight afterwards.
Admission is free for all spectators to Wild Academy home games at Planet Ice Widnes and fans are encouraged to go along and support the stars of the future.
