The Widnes Wild Academy junior teams had a mixed weekend, winning one and losing two of the three games that were played across the age groups.
The Academy U14s lost 1-5 at home to Blackburn on Saturday at Planet Ice Widnes while the Under 18B team beat Nottingham 4-3. The Under 18A team lost 4-12 to Nottingham on Sunday.
This weekend sees the Wild Academy U16s at home to Sutton on Saturday 20th April at Planet Ice Widnes, starting at 4.20pm and the Under 18A team at home to Sheffield straight afterwards. The Under 14s are at home to Hull on Sunday, 6,20pm face off while the Under 10s are away in Altrincham for a 4 team cross ice tournament.
Admission is free for all spectators to Wild Academy home games at Planet Ice Widnes and fans are encouraged to go along and support the stars of the future
