Laidler Conference Weekend Round Up - 10th & 11th January

Telford Tigers picked up 6 points over the weekend courtesy of a 4-7 win away at Coventry on Saturday and a  6-4 double point win over Blackburn Eagles on Sunday but Solihull Barons' 2-6 win away at Sheffield Senators on Saturday means that they still top the table - with a 4 point advantage and games in hand.

Widnes Wild shut out Bradford Bulldogs 13-0 on Saturday before losing 5-1 away at 3rd place Senators on Sunday.  Nottingham Lions leapfrogged Wild into 4th place with their 7-4 win over Coventry Blaze in a game that saw former Elite League player and GB international Warren Tait return to the ice for his hometown 18 years after first making his senior debut for the Nottingham Panthers in the British League in the 1995/6 season.
