With Stars beating Sheffield Spartans 2-4 on Saturday and
Solway Sharks winning 4-6 away at Sutton Sting, the relative positions at the
top of the league table remain the same with but just 8 games left to play and
Hawks enjoying an 8-point cushion, it is very hard at this stage to see anybody
else depriving them of their first ever league title.
Sharks in 2nd and Stars in 3rd both
have games in hand over the teams behind them but with Whitley Warriors beating
bottom team Manchester Minotaurs 6-4, the battle for the play off places
remains extremely tight. Just two points separate Spartans in 4th
and Sutton in 6th so there is still much to play for!Photo: action from Sutton Stung v Solway Sharks - by David Morrison www.david-morrison-photography.co.uk/solway-sharks
