Moralee Conference Weekend Round Up - 17th & 18th January

Blackburn Hawks extended their lead at the top of the table with a  7-0 win away at Manchester Minotaurs on Saturday night. They are now 8 points clear of 2nd place Solway Sharks with both teams having now played the same number of games.

On Sunday night, the Minotaurs travelled to 3rd place Billingham Stars and once again came out goal-less losing 12-0. Stars are now just 1 point behind Solway with a game in hand.

Sheffield Spartans moved back up into 4th place with a 2-6 win away at Whitley Warriors on Sunday.  The Warriors also lost on Saturday 4-3 away at Sutton Sting, with whom they are level on points in 5th/6th place. 

Manchester Minotaurs remain bottom of the table having lost all 15 of their league games to date.

In the ECCN, Solway Sharks lost 2-4 at home to Peterborough Phantoms EPL team on Saturday and on Sunday, Blackburn Hawks beat the Phantoms 8-2 in the final game of the group stage.
