Team of the weekend in the Laidler Conference would have to be Widnes Wild who picked up 4 points on the road - with a 4-2 win away at Blackburn Eagles on Saturday and then beating local rivals Deeside Dragons 5-8 on Sunday, with Filip Supa scoring 5+1 . Those results lift them up into 4th place in the table, with Dragons dropping to 5th.
Solihull Barons extended their lead the top of the table with a 17-1 demolition of bottom club Bradford Bulldogs, in which Niklas Ottoson scored 5+2 and Thomas Soar 2+6. Second place Sheffield Senators lost 2-1 away at Coventry Blaze which means that the Barons now have a 10 point lead at the top.
In the other game of the weekend, Nottingham Lions beat Hull Jets 14-4 to move above Blackburn Eagles into 6th.
