In South 2 East, second place Peterborough Islanders kept the pressure on league leaders with an 8-1 win over Lee Valley Lions. That puts them just one point behind Slough, although they have played 2 games more.

Haringey Racers remain in 3rd place despite a 2-6 home defeat at the hands of 4th place Chelmsford Warriors. Lee Valley picked up a 6-4 win at home to Invicta Mustangs on Sunday to extend the gap between the two bottom teams to 6 points.

In South 2 West, Bristol Pitbulls remain bottom of the table after a 2-3 defeat at home to Cardiff Devils, in a match where they outshot the visitors 52 to 29. In the other game Basingstoke Buffalo and Swindon Wildcats drew 5-5  meaning that Devils take over at the top of the table.

In Group B of the South 2 Cup, Slough Jets extended their 100% record in all competitions to 12 with a 4-9 win away at Wightlink Tigers. They top the group with 10 points from 5 games and are already guaranteed a place in the semi finals.
