Invicta Dynamos moved up to second place in the South 1 table after a 4 point weekend. On Saturday night they beat Wightlink Raiders 3-1 in a game that also counted towards the ECCS and
were actually outshot 35-41 by their guests.
Callum Fowler put the Dynamos 2-1 ahead after 48 minutes and the win was only assured with an empty net goal in the last minute. The penalty count ended up 96-55 in favour of Invicta with 83 being given out on the final buzzer so it must have been a lively encounter.
On Sunday the Dynamos won 1-4 away at Milton Keynes Thunder with new Estonian signing Ilja Urushev scoring 2+0.
League leaders Chelmsford Chieftains were without a game but remain top by one point and have a game in hand over Invicta. Streatham Redskins also had a free weekend and drop into 3rd place, one point behind Dynamos, having played a game more.
